Quick Tip – Shoelaces!

I decided I wanted neon green shoelaces in my 14-eye combat boots. Sadly, nowhere online could I find neon green shoelaces long enough for 14-eye boots. I was bummed.

While browsing Michael’s Crafts looking for white fabric paint, lo and behold, my savior did appear – PARACORD! With the popularity of paracord bracelets, there are SO MANY COLOURS of paracord available at the craft store. There it was – neon green! I snatched that fucker up like it was doomsday. 21ft for $3.99. Enough for a pair of shoes and plenty to spare!

Remember that after you measure out and cut your shoelaces to take a lighter and melt the ends of the paracord or else it will unravel.
